Carmen (Bizet)

A Strada Stretta Production, this street opera version of Bizet's legendary opera Carmen will take place in the street and throughout several rooms of 'Splendid'. The audience are invited to follow our four singers, mixed ensembles and a group of troubadours throughout this alternative theatre space as the boundaries of time and space are dismantled. Tom will be at the piano and also conducting for this one-off performance under the Artistic Direction of Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci.

For Your Ears Only - Season Opener 

The opening concert of the new season of For Your Ears Only - a concert series and platform for contemporary and experimental music on the Maltese islands. The programme includes Tom Armitage's Brew (a piece for solo trumpet and electric kettle played by Jess Rymer) and It’s a Risky World by Guy Harries and Luc Houtkamp (performed at the piano by Tom Armitage) as well as music for trumpet, saxophone, voice, piano and electronics.
