Dido and Aeneas (Purcell)

Teatru Manoel's own Monteverdi Project will produce Henry Purcell's classic opera, Dido and Aeneas. Stepping away from the piano, Tom will perform the role of the Sailor, as well as performing in "madrigal-presentations" of the choruses.

SOPA Choir goes to Japan!

Tom will be visiting the city of Ise in Japan with the SOPA Choir that he co-conducts with Francesca Aquilina. In Ise, they will perform Tom's own Lullaby (from the stage play What a Piece of Work is Man by Denise Mulholland) and premiere The Arrow and the Song, for soprano soloists (Francesca Aquilina & Megumi Hiro) and choir (SOPA Choir & Ise Boys and Girls Choir). The premiere of the piece will be given at Ise Grand Shrine and then performed again at Ise Topia.
